Huangjiashan Waterworks, located in the middle of Gaoyu Road, Longquan Street, Jimo District, Qingdao, is an important hub for water supply in the east of Jimo City. However, with the development of cities and the growth of water supply demand, the problem of energy consumption of water plant pumping stations has become increasingly prominent.
In order to actively respond to the national call for energy conservation and emission reduction and gradually eliminate outdated high energy consumption equipment, Huangjiashan Waterworks invited Kaiquan engineers and technicians to carry out systematic diagnosis for the operating parameters of its pump station system, and embarked on this journey of energy conservation transformation.
Solution
After the on-site comprehensive audit of the water plant equipment system by Kaiquan expert team, the following problems were found:
1. The rated head of the original high-pressure water pump is too high, and the water pump deviates from the rated point and operates at the high efficiency point;
2. Through the collection of actual operation data, it is further found that the operation efficiency of the original high-pressure water pump is low and there is a serious problem of energy waste.
Therefore, combined with the hydraulic characteristics of the system and the problems existing on the site, Kaiquan improved the operating efficiency of the pump according to the parameters of the best operating conditions of the system, reduced invalid energy consumption, and replaced the original old pump with Kaiquan's "Smart Smart Flow" efficient and energy-saving double suction pump. This pump breaks through the two key technical bottlenecks of wide efficiency and low cavitation, and has the following advantages:
High efficiency pump design and self efficiency are higher than traditional ordinary pumps, and the high efficiency zone is 12% -20% wider than ordinary pumps; In this way, even if the change of water use causes the pump to run away from the design point within a certain range, the high-efficiency pump can also ensure to run in the high-efficiency area.
The cavitation performance of the high-efficiency pump is better than that of the ordinary pump, and cavitation will not occur even if the pump runs at a higher flow rate.
Project results
The operation of this pump has significantly improved the operation efficiency of the water plant pump station and greatly reduced the invalid energy consumption. . At the same time, the investment return period is only 6 months.
In terms of economic benefits, this energy-saving transformation project has achieved remarkable results. . At the same time, in terms of environmental protection benefits, about 296.97 tons of standard coal are saved annually, and more than 863.2 tons of CO2 emissions are reduced, contributing to the green earth.
