Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, a city with a long history as the porcelain capital, has long faced the threat of floods and waterlogging due to its unique geographical location and climate conditions. Especially in the Huangnitou area located in the urban area, the terrain is low-lying, and during the flood season, it becomes a vast ocean. In 2021 alone, the region suffered 7 floods, posing significant threats and losses to the safety of local people's lives and property.

Huangnitou Flood Control and Drainage Project

To thoroughly solve this problem, the Jingdezhen Municipal Government has launched the Huangnitou Flood Control and Drainage Project. This livelihood project, known as the "No.1 Project", has a total investment of 458 million yuan. After completion, it can build an indestructible flood control safety line for 58000 residents, safeguard the peace of 10.5 square kilometers of homes, and build a strong flood barrier for local residents.

Kaiquan Solution

In response to the complex and ever-changing water conditions in the Huangnitou area, Kaiquan has specially customized three 2300ZLQ20-5.04 and two 1200ZLB-100 vertical axial flow pumps, with single unit powers of up to 1600kW and 355kW respectively. The overall designed drainage flow rate of the pump station is as high as 63.2m ³/s, and the total installed power is 5510kW.

Since its official operation in April 2023, the equipment provided by Kaiquan has been running stably for more than a year. Its excellent drainage effect has provided a solid guarantee for flood control safety in the Huangnitou area of Jingdezhen, and has won widespread praise from the local government and the public.
