Recently, Kaiquan stood out among many strong competitors and successfully won the bid for the subsequent optimization project of Hanjiang Rongjiang Lianjiang Water System Connection - Xiajiashan Pump Station Pump Station and its ancillary equipment procurement project. 

Project Background

The project includes three parts: the closed pipeline main line from Guxiang diversion port to Guanbu water intake port, Chaoyang diversion line, Puning and Chaonan diversion line. The construction mainly includes a total length of about 71.652km for the water transmission line and one pump station. Among them, Xiajia Mountain Pump Station is located in Kuiling Village, Xiajia Mountain Town, Puning City, Jieyang City. Hanjiang River water flows by gravity through the Luhu Tunnel and closed pipeline to the front pool of Guanbu Pump Station, and is pressurized and lifted by the Guanbu pump group before being transported to the Beishan overflow pool in Puning City. Then, it flows by gravity through a newly built steel pipe to the front pool of Xiajia Mountain Pump Station, and after being lifted by Xiajia Mountain Pump Station, it is transported to Tangkeng Reservoir and Qiufeng Reservoir.

Project Difficulties

In the preliminary communication stage, the Kaiquan technical team learned from the owner and the design institute that the pump of this project will need to operate as a single pump in the lift range of 18-23 meters in the next 5-6 years, taking into account long-term needs. The difficulty lies in the fact that a water pump needs to cover 18 parameter points, has a large head span, and sets extremely high standards for rated point efficiency, weighted average efficiency, cavitation performance, and noise control.

After countless discussions and experiments, the team innovatively proposed a technical concept of small leaf wheel and large leaf wheel working together, and tailored 4 sets of horizontal single-stage double suction centrifugal pumps (3 in use and 1 backup) and supporting variable frequency speed control horizontal asynchronous motors and variable frequency speed control devices for the project.

In addition, Kaiquan will also introduce advanced online monitoring systems that deeply integrate IoT and big data analysis technologies, enabling real-time monitoring and intelligent analysis of pump operation status, providing strong technical support for project operation and maintenance management. According to statistics, the entire project plan can save up to 1.1 million yuan in electricity costs annually, achieving both economic and social benefits.

Digging mountains to divert water benefits people's livelihoods, connecting the three rivers to promote development. The completion of the subsequent optimization project for the Hanjiang Rongjiang Lianjiang water system connection will provide an average annual increase of 311 million cubic meters of water supply for over 8.5 million people in eastern Guangdong, forming a water supply guarantee system that adjusts between high and low seasons, complements multiple water sources, and promotes sustainable utilization.

Recently, news came from the "Rainwater and Sewage Diversion" project in Dachuan's old urban area, undertaken by Kaiquan. Since its operation in July 2023, the project has been running steadily, successfully solving the problems of sewage overflow in the old urban area and peak water inflow regulation of Dazhou sewage treatment plant. It has built an indestructible green barrier for the ecological environment along the Zhouhe River, a tributary of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.

Background 

This project is located on the banks of the Zhouhe River, a tributary of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, and is an important project of the Central Environmental Protection Inspection Group of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Faced with the urgent construction period and complex technical challenges in the early stages of the project, Kaiquan responded quickly with its profound industry experience and innovative capabilities, and tailored two integrated prefabricated pump stations with a diameter of up to 5 meters.

The pump station can process 80000 cubic meters of water per day, accurately distinguishing between rainwater and sewage, enabling rainwater to be directly discharged into the river, while sewage is efficiently transported to the Dazhou sewage treatment plant through a dedicated pipeline network for treatment, effectively avoiding pollution caused by direct discharge of sewage into the river. In addition, the project has also built 14 sets of vacuum flushing devices for storage tanks, with a storage capacity of 40000 cubic meters, and installed two sets of advanced biological deodorization equipment.
